2013 Photo Gallery Racing Section

Below are photos from the Slalom, Sprint and Relay events.

In the slalom section of the contest, the teams had to weave their way through the course. Time penalties were incurred for each of the cones that they hit or if they failed to stop in the bounds of the stop box.

The sprint is timed with the best time for each team being recorded, and penalties being incurred for hitting the cones or failing to stop in the stop box.

The relay section can almost be regarded as the main event of the racing. This section was split into five heats with three Karts each doing eight laps and switching drivers every two laps. Two series of heats were held with the best times progressing to the two semi finals of four karts.

The semis were the same eight lap total, two laps per driver as the heats and the first two karts from each semi progressed through to the final.
